Tweens and Teens Promotion

Franklin Transit announces the return of its summer Tweens and Teens promotion. Youth, ages 12 to 18, can ride Franklin Transit’s fixed routes for half-price – one-way fares for 50-cents.

“With today’s challenging economic conditions, parents can save money; gas and time by having their children ride Franklin’s transit service. The fixed routes service the areas of interest, as well as places of summer employment, for teenagers. Area parents have found Franklin’s transit service to be safe, affordable and timely transportation for their Tweens and Teens,” says Debbie Henry, TMA Group Executive Director.

Transit routes can take Teens and Tweens to all their favorite summer hot spots – the CoolSprings Galleria, Downtown Franklin, Franklin Family YMCA, Wal-Mart, Williamson County Library and many more stops. Transit service runs Monday – Saturday. All youth must be 12 years of age or older to ride the transit service without an adult. Routes and schedules can be obtained by calling the Franklin Transit Authority office at 628-0260 or visiting: www.franklintransit.org.
