Troy Fleming in the house!

IT’S TONIGHT!!!

Come to the Williamson County Red Cross Youth Council’s live auction, spaghetti dinner and silent auction fundraiser on Thursday, March 29 in Jamison Hall at The Factory in Franklin from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Troy Fleming, a former Titan and current Denver Bronco, is scheduled to attend the event.

“I am happy to support the efforts of the youth of Williamson County," Fleming said.

Aptly named "Dinner & a Shot," the proceeds from this event will go toward expanding the youth programs offered by the Williamson County Red Cross as well as toward the Red Cross Measles Initiative, the goal of which is to vaccinate 90percent of the world’s children against this deadly disease.

The event will include a sit-down spaghetti dinner served by our Youth Council members, dessert and the opportunity to bid on silent auction and live auction items. There is an Ovation professional acoustic/electric guitar valued at $850 that will be up for sale in the live auction and Titans box seat tickets. Additionally, there is a highly recommended professional painter who is donating his services, the painting of three bedrooms in a home, to the live auction.

The silent auction will be open for bids from 6:30-7:30 p.m. with the live auction starting at 8 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by the “Share a Tune Club,” a group of musically talented youth that play at area nursing homes and assisted living centers.

Tickets are $10 and may be purchased in advance from the chapter office at 129 W. Fowlkes Street #100, Franklin 37064, by phone at 790-5785 or at the door on the evening of the event.

This event is an opportunity for the public to not only enjoy a delicious spaghetti dinner and support their local Red Cross chapter youth program, but to also meet many of Williamson County’s finest youth volunteers and learn about the services offered by our local Red Cross Chapter and Youth Program.

Organizers are still asking for donations of silent auction items and live auction items.

For more information or to donate items for our silent auction, please contact Cristina Archie, Youth Director for the Williamson County Red Cross at 790-5785 or at archiec@crossnet.org. We also encourage anyone interest in more information to visit our website at www.williamsoncountyredcross.org.
