On Friday, Sept. 24, Titans defensive tackles Jeffery Simmons and Jordan Elliott attended the Franklin Road Academy at Battle Ground Academy high school football game for a special “Music City” Rivalries edition of Friday Night Titans Game of the Week.
Simmons and Elliott served as the honorary captains, supported the teams from the sideline, and gave away Titans flags to fans. As part of the Nike Rivalries campaign, the Titans provided both student sections with light up LED wristbands and “Music City” Rivalries-themed giveaways, including t-shirts for each school. The winning school also received a special Rivalries trophy.
The Titans will debut their own Rivalries uniforms on Sunday, Nov. 15, when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars at 12 p.m. CT.
Each week throughout the high school football season, the Titans travel to one marquee matchup in Middle Tennessee for the Friday Night Titans Game of the Week, presented by Whataburger. Designed to recognize excellence in high school athletics, the Friday Night Titans Game of the Week provides the host school with a $1,000 grant from the Titans Foundation to support their football program.
