FrankTown Festival of Lights Event Franklin TN

 

FrankTown Festival of Lights (Nov. 17- Dec. 31st)

The Annual FrankTown Festival of Lights can be found every night from 5- 9pm at the Williamson County Ag Expo Center until December 31st. Presented by FrankTown Open Hearts, this 1.5-mile light show features over 200 light displays synchronized to Christmas music in support of their mission to enhance the lives of at-risk youth through hands-on programming.

Christmas Tree Lighting on the Square (Dec. 1st)

The City of Franklin’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting on The Square will be held this Friday at 6pm. Matthew West is headlining the event, while Franklin local Quintavious Johnson and the Franklin Intermediate School Choir are opening! Mars Petcare will be providing pet-friendly photo opportunities, and Williamson Health will offer free photos with Santa! Join the Franklin community in lighting up the town at the Christmas Tree Lighting on the Square!

 

Downtown Franklin Art Crawl is an art event that features local artists, live music, guided art tours, galleries, shopping, complimentary refreshments and much more!

 

Downtown Franklin Art Crawl (Dec. 1st)

Presented by the Arts Council of Williamson County, the monthly Downtown Franklin Art Crawl will take place this Friday from 6- 9pm. This family-friendly event is free to attend, showcasing Williamson County’s local art scene and inviting the community to view and purchase all kinds of art! Studios, galleries, live music, and free refreshments can be found throughout Franklin’s historic downtown for this fun art event!

Sugar Drop Cafe & Dessert Boutique will be hosting a Vintage Buttercream Christmas Tree Cake Class this Saturday from 9- 10:30am. This cake class is great for anyone interested in a fun way to celebrate the holiday season! Students ages 8 and older will create a vintage-inspired, Christmas tree shaped cake with buttercream at this creative cake class!

Williamson County’s farmers markets provide the perfect opportunity to support local farmers, kitchens, and artisans! 

  • The Franklin Farmers Markets can be found every Saturday morning behind The Factory at Franklin, featuring vendors with fresh produce, baked goods, handcrafted items, local art, and more.
  • The Nolensville Farmers Market can be found every Saturday morning at Mill Creek Church of Christ, where farmers and artisans offer fresh, seasonal foods, unique crafts, and more! 

 

 

Thompson’s Station Holiday Market (Dec. 2nd)

Thompson’s Station Holiday Market will be held this Saturday afternoon at Homestead Manor from 10am- 3pm. This holiday market will offer a variety of items from local artisans, crafters, and small businesses! Newly presented by the Downtown Franklin Rotary Club, this iconic event has been a Franklin holiday tradition for over 30 years. The Franklin Christmas Parade invites the community to come together and celebrate the Christmas season, with local performers and floats marching through the streets of the historic downtown Franklin!

 

Deck the Howls Event in Franklin, Tennessee, children can read to shelter pets, decorate cookies, create ornaments and visit with Santa.
