Main Street Festival (April 22-23)

The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County’s 39th Annual Main Street Festival will take place on April 22nd and 23rd from 10 am- 6 pm! With craft and food vendors, live entertainment, and more than 120,000 annual visitors, Main Street Festival is consistently listed as one of the top 20 events in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society. Make sure to stop by and see what all the buzz is about! 

 

Music 4 Music Songwriters Night (April 17th)

Music 4 Music is a Songwriters Night and Silent Auction where proceeds will go toward building a band tower for Ravenwood High School. Taking place at The Franklin Theatre, there will be acoustic performances by award-winning singer/songwriters, so support this local high school’s band department and enjoy a night of music! 

 

An Evening with The Warren Brothers (April 18th)

Come out and enjoy an evening of music with The Warren Brothers at The Franklin Theatre to raise funds for Faithfully Restored, an organization supporting women in need. This songwriting duo has written numerous hits for a variety of country artists, so you are sure to recognize some favorites! 

 

Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary 

Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary has plenty of Springtime events happening this month!

  • Knee High Naturalist: Children ages 3-5 are invited to explore nature with the Knee High Naturalist series! Led by an Owl’s Hill Environmental Educator, children will learn about a different topic each week with emphasis on teamwork, creativity, and exploration! The Spring sessions will take place every Wednesday from 10am- 11:30am until April 26th, so make sure to register your child soon! 
  • Wildflower Hikes: Celebrate the Spring season with Wildflower Hikes every Saturday in April from 9:30am- 11:30am! Teens and adults are invited on a hike to admire all of the blooming trees and wildflowers like the Blue-Eyed Mary, Dutchman’s Britches, and Spring Beauty. 
  • Family Camp Out: This overnight camping experience on April 22nd includes roasting marshmallows, an owl presentation, a guided night hike, a take-home craft, and a light breakfast! Make sure to eat dinner beforehand and bring your own tent, smores, and camping chairs!

Holy Family Fashion Show (April 20th)

The Holy Family Fashion Show at Holy Family Catholic Church features a fashion show, raffle, photo booth, drinks, and refreshments while benefiting Healing Housing, a nonprofit program that supports women overcoming addiction.

 

The Rambling (April 20-22)

Studio Tenn Theatre Company presents their annual fundraising gala, One Night Only: Fosse this Saturday. Join Studio Tenn’s Board of Directors in honoring the legacy of prolific choreographer Bob Fosse as Liberty Hall in The Factory at Franklin is transformed into an exclusive club!

 

Meet the Astronomer Talk + Telescope Viewing (April 20th)

Vanderbilt University Astronomy Professor Dr. David Weintraub will be talking about his newest book The Sky is for Everyone: Women Astronomers in Their Own Words at the Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory in Brentwood! After the discussion, there will be a telescope viewing.

Cool Springs East Clubhouse will be having an Earth Day Rummage Sale on April 22nd in support of Mother Earth as well as MOMCODE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting mothers in our community. Stop by and look through gently-used clothing, decor, and more! 

 

Urban Birding (April 22nd)

The City of Franklin invites you to walk along a paved trail in Aspen Grove Park on April 22nd to see all of the migratory birds that visit us during the Spring! 

 

Farmers Markets (April 22nd)

These local farmers markets prove the importance of contributing to your community and provide the perfect opportunity to support your local farmers, kitchens, and artisans! 

  • You can find The Franklin Farmers Market every Saturday morning behind The Factory at Franklin with numerous vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, handcrafted items, and local art.
  • The Nolensville Winter Farmers Market will be taking place every Saturday from 10am-1pm at the Mill Creek Church of Christ. Local farmers and artisans will offer fresh, seasonal foods and unique crafts! 

 

Garden Festival & Plant Sale (April 22nd)

The Williamson County Master Gardener Association will be hosting a Spring Garden Festival and Plant Sale at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park on April 22nd! Charity Crawfish Boil (April 22nd)

We Care Williamson County will be hosting their 10th Annual Charity Crawfish Boil in the parking lot of Tony’s Eat & Drink this Saturday from 12pm- 5pm! Price includes all-you-can-eat crawfish with proceeds going to The Refuge Center and local resident Jackie Kelley. There will also be a silent auction and live music all day! 

 

Princess Tea Party (April 22nd)

Page High School’s Theater Department will be hosting a Princess Tea Party this Saturday from 1pm- 4pm. This event features face painting, nail painting, karaoke, hair coloring, photo ops, crafts, refreshments, and meet & greets with favorite characters! 

 

Farm to Table Dinner (April 22nd)

GratiDude Ranch is hosting a Farm-to-Table Dinner on April 22nd with Chef Brayden Apple of River Cottage Farm. This 5-course meal features locally sourced ingredients, craft drinks, and live music!

 

World’s Best Beer Garden (April 22-23)
