The Summer Symposium focuses on the Battle of Franklin and will follow the footsteps of Gen. John Bell Hood & General Schofield. Attendees will visit the Carter House, Carnton Plantation, Winstead Hill, Carnton, Ft. Negley, the Capitol (Union Ft. Johnson) and other important historic venues, culminating a dinner at Glen Leven.

THURSDAY, JUNE 18, 2009- Meeting of the Waters
Last night, Franklin’s Charge kicked off the Summer Symposium, Franklin to Nashville: The Last Days of the army of Tennessee at the Meeting of the Waters, home of  Joe Cashia.
