Summer Cookout & Bluegrass

Historic downtown Franklin’s St. Paul Episcopal Church will hold their 51st Summer Cookout, Saturday, July 23 where mouth-watering pulled pork, smoked chicken and all the fixings will be served up to hundreds of friends and neighbors. Enjoy the annual Bluegrass Along the Harpeth, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Franklin’s Public Square on the same day.

Slow cooked over hickory coals, pork and chicken are served up with beans, slaw, ho cakes, 3-7 p.m. Tickets are available the day of the event for $10. Advance orders are now being taken for whole Boston butts and full meals for five or more that can be picked up after noon the day of the event. This year, whole barbeque chickens are also available for take-out orders and can be picked up at any time during the cookout.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is at 510 West Main Street in downtown Franklin.

The proceeds benefit church-related causes and community ministries.
