STUDIO TENN TO OFFER MASTER CLASS WITH NEW YORK COMPOSER AND LYRICIST, MICHAEL MOTT

26 October 2018 – Franklin, Tenn – Studio Tenn is set to bring an all new Master Class series on February 19, 2019 at the Jamison Theatre in The Factory at Franklin. The Master Class will be led by New York composer and lyricist Michael Mott.    Structured to help prepare high school and college students refine their auditions for collegiate and professional productions, the Studio Tenn Master Class will give students an opportunity to explore the art of auditioning and receive specific feedback with the guidance of a successful industry professional.   Mott, having experience as a singer, actor, lyricist, composer and vocal coach, is currently developing two theatre musicals in NYC – In The Light, A Faustian Tale and MOB WIFE. He has worked with Tony Award®nominees such as Jeremy Jordan, Laura Osnes, Sierra Boggess, Zachary Levi, and many more.

Michael Mott Studio Tenn Managing Director Todd Morgan expressed how excited he is to bring this opportunity to the community.   “Auditioning is a skill that is so important to what we do as theater artists,” said Morgan. “Giving students the opportunity not only to refine these skills, but to do so with a professional like Michael Mott who works at the top tier of professional theater is something truly unique to the community.”   The Studio Tenn Master Class will take place Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in the Jamison Hall in The Factory at Franklin from 6:00-8:00 pm.
