Spring Hill Realtor sponsors Bullets and BBQ to empower local mothers group

Cynthia M. Beard, Realtor and ManagingBroker of the RE/MAX Fine Homes Spring Hill office, spent her Friday night cheering on a group of local moms who are part of the Thompson’s Station Church MOPS (Moms of Preschoolers) group in a new event called Bullets and BBQ.

The event was hosted by Dawn Bradley, instructor for Agape Tactical, LLC. Agape is a Christian-based company with the goal of educating and training individuals in the art of self-protection. The group of moms came together in an effort to educate themselves on how to handle guns and, hopefully, gain greater confidence in handling potentially threatening situations.

Agape Tactical is owned by Ken Alexandrow, a 25-year law enforcement veteran and police trainer. Bradley has over 25 years of instructional experience, which is coupled with 60-plus hours of tactical and firearms training, including active shooter training. With those skills, she is committed to empowering women and equipping them to take charge of their personal defense and the defense of their families.
