Paintball, Science Camps and Safe Kids

Williamson County Parks and Recreation (WCPR) is pleased to announce Spring Break activities guaranteed to keep the kids busy!

Paintball Trip

How about a fun day playing paintball? Kids 11-15 are invited to register for a day trip to Middle TN Paintball, hosted by Williamson County Parks and Recreation. Registrants will meet at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd., Franklin, TN 37064. Trip leaves at 9:00 a.m. and returns at 4:00 p.m.  Before and after care available, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. $45 fee includes transportation, all equipment and 200 paintballs. Safe Kids 101

Safe Kids 101 teaches kids ages 9-13 how to stay safe at home and in the community. Students will learn digital and real-life safety tips on handling intruders, strangers and more. Safe Kids 101 will be offered Monday, March 26 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Williamson County Recreation Complex at Nolensville, 7250 Nolensville Rd., Nolensville, TN 37135. Polite Kids

Prepare your child for any social situation with Polite Kids 101, a three-hour class for ages 9 to 13 at the Fairview Recreation Complex, 2714 Fairview Blvd, Fairview, TN 37062. Polite Kids teaches proper introductions, respect for others, table manners and more. Class meets on Monday, March 26 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Advance registration required at www.wcparksandrec.com, activity #11296 ($35 per child).

Super Hero Camp with Mr. Bond’s Science Guys

Explore the science of super heroes and villains in this five-day camp, March 26-30 at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd., Franklin, TN 37064. Learn about the science of magnetic power, web throwing, laser eyes and ice powers. Dress up as your favorite super hero for class! Meets 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. For ages 5 to 12. Advance registration required at www.wcparksandrec.com, activity #10972 ($160 per child, plus $20 supply fee payable to instructor).  

Nature Camp with Mr. Bond’s Science Guys

Let’s explore nature and learn about biomes, animals and the earth using the Giant Dymaxion Map, scavenger hunts and more.  Camp meets 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., March 26-30 at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Rd., Franklin, TN 37064. For ages 5 to 12. Advance registration required at www.wcparksandrec.com, activity #10973 ($160 per child, plus $20 supply fee payable to instructor).
