Sock Hop Supports Star Bright Players

Join the fun at an old-fashioned sock hop, Wednesday, December 4 at 5:30 p.m. in the Freedom Middle School Theatre, 750 Highway 96 West in Franklin and support Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s Star Bright Players Children’s Theatre group.  Dress up fifties style if you want, and join the cast of Star Bright’s ‘Bye Bye Birdie’ for dancing and fun.  The $8 admission goes toward the ongoing expenses of the Star Bright Players Children’s Theatre group. Event sponsors Sonic and Walgreens will provide refreshments, plus there will be an old-fashioned photo booth!   After the dance, stay for a sneak peek of the ‘Bye Bye Birdie’ show at 7:00 p.m. during their final dress rehearsal. No reservations are needed for the sock hop, and tickets are available at the door.

The Star Bright Players will present four performances of the classic musical “Bye Bye Birdie” on December 5, 6, 7 and 8 at the Freedom Middle School theatre. This family-friendly production stars an all-local cast of kids from ages 7 to 17.
