Second Annual Countdown for the Cause

This year marks the Second Annual Countdown for the Cause fundraiser benefiting the ARC of Williamson County and The Gear Foundation scheduled for Dec. 31, 2007.Guests will enjoy an evening of great entertainment benefiting two wonderful Williamson County causes The Arc of Williamson County and The Gear Foundation. The Arc of Williamson County provides advocacy, financial assistance, service coordination and targeted case management to individuals with all types of disabilities. The Gear Foundation provides employment and job training for persons with disabilities.

The Black Tie Event kicks off at 7:30p.m at The Embassy Suites Hotel. Live music will be provided by Flair, one of the Southeast’s most fun and energetic party bands around. When the four-piece group out of Nashville, isn’t playing 80’s and 90’s pop hits, disco, dance, Motown, R&B, hip-hop, classic rock music, DJ B-Real from Memphis will fill in to keep the party going during the band breaks.

There will be great food again this year including carving stations, pasta stations, heavy hor’s doeuvres, and desserts. Plus there will be lots of silent auction items including a repeat favorite from last year-an autographed acoustic guitar signed by tons of music celebrities. Guests can also enjoy beer and wine provided by Ajax Turner and Lipman Brothers and a champagne toast at midnight plus party favors and gift bags provided by whats-in-store. This event is for ages 21 and up.

Tickets are $125 per person and $225 per couple with a $50 per ticket VIP upgrade (optional). All tickets include dinner, (alcohol included), entertainment by “Flair” with special guest “DJ B-Real,” champagne toast at midnight, party favors and a gift bag.
VIP level tickets include reserved seating in VIP area, champagne on each table, souvenir champagne flutes, additional gifts in gift bag, special party favors, and servers.
