“TOUCH A TRUCK” IS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5

Free Family Event in Thompson’s Station

Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s annual “Touch a Truck” will be held Saturday, October 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Thompson’s Station Baptist Church, 2608 Thompson Station Road and Columbia Pike. This free family friendly event will give people of all ages the opportunity to see nearly 30 different kinds of large scale construction and public service vehicles up close. 

Kids can visit the free Activity Zone and enjoy rock painting and other hands-on activities. 

A variety of entertainers on the performance stage will include musicians, princesses, and dancers. There will be free face painting and a raffle tent with lots of great giveaways and prizes for the whole family.

Don’t miss this favorite hands-on opportunity for children and adults to explore all types of big construction and commercial vehicles and hear all of their bells and whistles. Admission to the event is free. Concessions from on-site food trucks will be available for purchase.
