RECAP- Carnton Sunset Concert Series
A large crowd gathered at Carnton on Sunday evening for an afternoon of fun. The Sunset Concert Series concluded its 2019 season with music from Resurrection-A Journey Tribute. Attendees assembled on the east lawn next to Carnton, accompanied by food offerings from Grilled Cheeserie, Cousin’s Maine Lobster, Roadhouse Grille, Tchoupitoulas Street Snow Cones, Moosic City Ice Cream and Waffles, TN Cobbler Company, South Street Coffee and Pandy Cotton Candy food trucks. Specialty drinks were served, including margaritas provided by Chuy’s, mint juleps, Lynchburg Lemonade, and Carnton’s own Sunset Breeze made with Tito’s Vodka. Edelweiss Boutique also offered a unique shopping experience on the lawn. The Sunset Concert Series raises funds for the Battle of Franklin Trust, which operates Carnton and Carter House.
