philanthropy’s Art From the Heart Night

Local artist, Joseph Philip Dzuback Bibb, will be premiering his new works at philanthropy, located at 432 Main Street, Franklin, TN on Tuesday, August 21, from 6PM to 9PM.  Joseph Philip Dzuback Bibb, known as Dzuback, creates his art reflecting his personal emotions as they relate to local and world events.

Dzuback is a Franklin native and is currently studying at Wake Forest University.  His art is a hybrid between the process oriented work of black & white photography and the fluid action of oil painting.  Much of the subject matter is concerned with his heritage and the various forces that have influenced him personally.   The canvas medium varies with the subject matter of the piece.

Christina Martin, owner of philanthropy, describes the artist’s works as personal.  “When you are viewing the paintings, you can feel the connection with his family and the vision of his future.  It’s very wise for this inspiring young artist.”

philanthropy, Fashion with Compassion, was founded with the objective of offering a platform for giving back at community and global levels.  A portion of the sale of all products is donated so that philanthropy can become a catalyst for teaching the joy of giving.  Art from the Heart Night is an ongoing cocktail hour event at philanthropy that showcases local artists while raising awareness, and fund-raising, for local beneficiaries.

Dzuback donates 25% of the sale of his art to the Dollars for Darfur program as carried out by African Leadership, a Franklin based charitable organization.  Go to www.africanleadership.org and learn more about this program.
