Paint the Town Orange Kick-Off
It was a beautiful day in Franklin to kick off the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County’s Paint the Town Orange month-long celebration in historic downtown Franklin. In partnership with the Downtown Franklin Association, a division of the Foundation, along with Visit Franklin and the City of Franklin, the Heritage Foundation has brought a new celebration of autumn to historic Franklin’s Main Street District with a month full of fun activities, online costume contests and special merchant promotions.
Heritage Foundation CEO Bari Beasley began the morning by recognizing Mayor Ken Moore, Visit Franklin’s Lauren Ward, the DFA’s Jill Burgin, Heritage Foundation Board President David Garrett and Paint the Town Orange presenting sponsor FirstBank. She then introduced Mayor Ken Moore, who presented the Heritage Foundation with a proclamation declaring October 2020 as “Paint the Town Orange Month.” The kickoff concluded with Beasley and Mayor Moore placing the final pumpkin on downtown Franklin’s iconic “Pumpkin Tree” and Twine Graphics was also onsite printing custom Paint the Town Orange t-shirts and face masks which can be purchased at https://stores.inksoft.com/paint_the_town_orange.
