P38Inc members bring holiday cheer to military families

Herald Reports

Each year P38Inc members adopt families from each battalion of the 1st Brigade, 101st Airborne Division at Christmas.

Gifts are purchased and wrapped, and in December a convoy of donors laden with packages transport them to the military base.

Families gather in a large room where children meet some of their Williamson County Santas along with P38 volunteers. They open one gift there, and the rest go home and remain wrapped until Christmas morning.

Employees at the Drury Hotel in Cool Springs adopted a family with five children from the storied 1/327th Infantry Regiment this Christmas. General Manager Ryan commented that his team truly enjoyed their involvement in the project.
