New Two-Hour Parking Signage Complete in Downtown Franklin

Franklin—In July the Board of Mayor and Alderman voted to amend Franklin’s Parking laws from four hours to two hours in the downtown core. This week the Franklin Street Department completed the installation of 29 signs. The law will now be enforced Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will exclude city recognized holidays. Saturdays and Sundays will be unlimited parking.

The City also owns two free parking garages with approximately 300 spaces each that offer unlimited free parking. There are privately owned paid lots also available in downtown Franklin. Learn more about the City’s free parking and parking garage availability here http://www.franklintn.gov/parking.
