Bluegrass power-pickers, multi-award-winning, Grammy-nominated group, The Grascals, have become one of the most acclaimed bands on today’s bluegrass scene for their innovative mingling of bluegrass and country music. The Grascals’ rare musical empathy gives just the right touch – whether they’re digging into one of their original songs or reworking a bluegrass classic or pop standard. Their roots can also be traced back to a larger musical community, where The Grascals have been able to draw on legends like Dolly Parton, George Jones, Vince Gill, The Jordanaires, Steve Wariner, Lloyd Green, Hank Williams, Jr. and others for songs and performances exposing new audiences to the diverse and unique “BluGrascals” sound.
Donna Ulisse, award nominated Songwriter of the Year by the IBMA, and The Poor Mountain Boys are proud to be a part of the evening. Listening to Donna Ulisse sing is like smelling sweet honeysuckle or listening to the sound of a clear mountain stream. She offers am unique insight into the stories behind many of the songs she has written as well as some top notch picking by the Poor Mountain Boys.

The Presenting Partner for the event is BancorpSouth. Venue Sponsor is Jackson Life. Cool Springs Wines and Spirits serving as Wine Sponsors. Catering for the VIP Patrons party will be catered by G Catering and Events.

Sherry Coss, Partnership Director, expects the concert to sell out quickly and encourages buying tickets early. The Martin Center’s goal is to raise $30,000 to go toward general operating costs with hopes of extending operating hours and evening programming.
