Seven months into 2022 and the real estate market in Nashville continues to be one of the hottest in the country. Since Nashville was deemed an “It” City by The New York Times several years ago, its popularity has continued to skyrocket as people flock here daily to become a part of our great city.
Being an “It” City certainly created a few challenges for many industries in Nashville, with the mortgage loan industry being no exception. Fortunately for Mark Rood, branch manager at Loan Depot in Franklin, his love of people and commitment to providing the best service to all clients has served his business well.
With Nashville’s booming housing market making the competition to win a housing bid even more fierce, Mark says he and his team follow a very strategic process with each and every client, given the current challenges would-be homeowners face when in the market to own a new home. “Being sure to stand out when making an offer is crucial in our market,” advises Mark. “We evaluate every client’s situation and strategically put together a plan that helps accomplish all their goals. Sometimes they can be tough but with the right plan we can usually find a way to win for our clients.” And he stresses the Loan Depot team works to make the process as seamless as possible.
The recent up-tick in rates put a shock on the market, but the good news is folks are coming back around as rates are still very competitive and homes are helping homeowners build wealth. Mark says the biggest tip he would give to anyone looking to buy a home is to “always start early and find a mortgage advisor who is truly there to help you grow wealth and is one you want to work with for the rest of your home buying/financing days.”
Mark says the biggest challenge is efficiency. “We want to offer every single person the same level of service, and make them a raving fan!”
Originally from Florida, Mark admits he has no problem calling Tennessee home, after moving to Nashville in 2010. “My previous career brought me to Nashville and it was one of the biggest blessings of my life,” Mark says. “My wife Melissa and I have made Brentwood home and absolutely love it!”
Mark and his team stress that they’re committed to helping customers navigate the sometimes-overwhelming experience of becoming a homeowner. Their diligence and dedicated customer service are no doubt a win-win for their clients. RoodLendingTeam.com
