New monthly event combines original fine art, brunch and an opportunity to meet local artists in downtown Franklin

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Modern Impressionist Society of Franklin will launch its inaugural “Second Sundays at The Harpeth” event on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Harpeth Hotel in downtown Franklin.

Created as a new monthly tradition, Second Sundays invites guests to come for brunch, stay for the art and discover something they love. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet three participating artists – Jeanne Pickard, Angela Powers and Dustine Roberts – and browse a curated selection of original impressionist paintings.

The event brings fine art into a welcoming Sunday setting, offering guests the chance to connect personally with the artists, learn more about their creative work and purchase original artwork.

“We want Second Sundays to be a beautiful and inspiring experience for the community – a place where people can enjoy brunch, meet local artists and discover original art in an approachable setting,” said Angela Powers of the Modern Impressionist Society of Franklin.
