Midway Thrills and Nightly Fireworks

Enjoy nine days of food, fun, thrill rides and fireworks at the 2008 Williamson County Fair presented by Tractor Supply Company, August 1st – 9th at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park! 

The 2008 midway, powered by Drew Exposition, features the 145-foot Mega Drop, the Seattle Wheel, the Cyclops, Ion, Tilt-a-Whirl, Spider, Bumper Cars, Pirate, Alpine Bob, Himalaya, Hammer and more.

Children of all ages will also enjoy the thrills of a special kiddie midway featuring a super slide, carousel, bees, elephants, fishy fish, caterpillar, dragon, panda bears, Sky Fighter and other kid-sized rides.

To optimize the fun, unlimited $25 ride specials will be offered on Saturday, August 2nd from 9am-5pm, Sunday, August 3rd from 11am-5pm and Monday, August 4th through Thursday, August 7th from 5pm-close. In addition, discounted ride coupon books are also available each day. 

All rides require more than one coupon and ride tickets are not included with fair general admission. Ride ticket coupons will be on sale on the midway. Midway rides are open during fair hours.

And, to cap off each day of fun at the Red, White and Blue Ribbon Fair, celebrate America with a free fireworks show at 9:00pm nightly presented by Atmos Energy.  

The 2008 fair offers convenient, free on-site parking and shuttle buses to the main gate provided by Nissan North America.  Regular admission to the fair is $5 in advance, $6 at the gate. Children ages 6 – 12 are $2 in advance, $3 at the gate. Children ages 5 and under are free.

Advance tickets are on sale at ten Middle Tennessee Tractor Supply Company locations and twenty area Daily’s convenience stores through the end of the fair. Nine-day general admission passes are available (at the gate only) for $30 for adults and $15 for children ages 6-12.

Complete fair guides containing descriptions of fair events, shows, rides, entertainment and exhibits are available at the Ag Expo Park, the Williamson County Mayor’s office, County Recreation Centers and the Williamson County Public Library and community branches.
