Maple Street Biscuit Company has permanently closed its Brentwood restaurant at Hill Center on Franklin Road following Cracker Barrel’s sale of most of the brand to Biscuit Belly, LLC. The Maple Street location in Nashville has also closed.
The deal includes the Maple Street Biscuit Company name and assets associated with 35 restaurants. Biscuit Belly plans to convert some locations, including the Murfreesboro store, to the Biscuit Belly brand over the next 18 to 24 months. The closed Brentwood and Nashville restaurants are not expected to be converted.
Cracker Barrel acquired Maple Street Biscuit Company in 2019. The remaining restaurants not included in the sale are expected to close as Cracker Barrel exits the brand.
