Main Street Festival Schedule

Things to note about the Main Street Festival:

Sections of 4th Ave. N. and 4th Ave. S. will be closed on Friday, April 26, starting at 6 a.m.

The alley at 3rd Ave. S. (behind the Old Courthouse) is considered a fire lane all day on Friday. This means you can get in, but it isn’t easy getting out due to the set-up on 4th Ave. S. Please discourage major deliveries to this alley on Friday.

Main Street closes to vehicle traffic from 1st Ave. to 5th Ave. at 10 p.m. Friday.

On Saturday, there will be two park-and-ride lots serving the festival.

  1. Harlinsdale Farm will offer free parking from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Franklin Transit provides a shuttle service for $1 for adults and 50-cents for children and seniors. No dogs allowed on the transit vehicles, however. On Sunday, this service continues from noon to 6 p.m.
  2. The People’s Church will be a park-and-ride lot to the event on Saturday only, from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. with the same transit fares. Again, no pets.
  3. Both park-and-ride lots are also options for Downtown Franklin employees. Additionally, both parking garages will be open through the event until they are full.
