Joe Muer Seafood Nashville Appoints New General Manager

Michael Torino brings more than 14 years of general manager experience to the fine dining restaurant

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  Joe Muer Seafood Nashville, an upscale seafood restaurant in the North Gulch neighborhood, has named Michael Torino as its new general manager. In this role, Torino is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and development, enhancing guest satisfaction, cultivating intentional programming and establishing Joe Muer Seafood as a premier destination in Nashville.

“Mike’s dynamic spirit, leadership skills and passion for Nashville’s hospitality scene will significantly influence Joe Muer’s success and growth,” said Rosalie Vicari, chief operating officer and co-owner of Joe Vicari Restaurant Group. “With Mike at the helm of our incredible Nashville team, we are excited to continue creating an exceptional dining experience for locals and visitors alike.”

Prior to joining Joe Muer Seafood Nashville, Torino served as director of operations for E3 Chophouse. He has also held general manager roles at The Palm, Sole Mio and Hopdoddy. Torino was born and raised in Long Island, New York, but has spent the last 24 years in Nashville.

With more than 14 years of general management experience, Torino has already made an impact at Joe Muer Seafood with the launch of “Golden Hour,” a menu featuring specials like saffron creamed mussels, rock shrimp tacos, beef tips & mushrooms, fried chicken sliders, Tennessee country biscuits and Rhode Island fried calamari. The happy hour menu also offers half-off beer, wine and signature cocktails and is available in the bar area from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Founder and chief operating officer Joe Vicari added, “Golden Hour is the perfect opportunity to connect with colleagues, friends and loved ones in a refined, vibrant atmosphere. While this menu is different than dinner service – a bit more laid back and conversational – it still invites guests to savor timeless dishes stepped in tradition for an unforgettable experience.

Joe Muer Seafood is owned by Joe Vicari Restaurant Group, which is based in Detroit. The acclaimed metro Detroit staple opened its doors in Nashville in August 2023 and is the group’s first restaurant outside of Michigan.
