Be a Hero! Adopt a Pet During ‘Clear The Shelter’

Adoption fees waived on all kittens, cats and dogs

An extremely high number of intakes in recent days has the Williamson County Animal Center in Franklin packed with adorable adoptable dogs and cats that need homes! So, the shelter is asking you to ‘Be a Hero-Adopt a Pet!’ during their ‘Clear the Shelter’ event. All adoption fees are waived on kittens, cats and dogs over one year of age. Puppies under one year are not included.

Clear the Shelter starts Thursday, June 8 and goes through Sunday June 11. During this promotion, any kitten, cat or adult dog is adoptable at no fee!

All the dogs and cats adopted through Williamson County Animal Center are current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (if age permits) and microchipped. Puppy adoption fees are $85; unaltered pets may not be adopted out-of-county and may be subject to a deposit.

The Williamson County Animal Center, 106 Claude Yates Dr. in Franklin, is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Adoptable animals can be viewed at www. adoptwcac.org.
