The Heritage Foundation’s Pumpkinfest to Return to Downtown Franklin on Oct 27

Sponsored by Jackson, the largest Fall festival in Middle Tennessee draws more than 65,000 to Main Street

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, TN 35th annual Pumpkinfest presented by Jackson will return to downtown Franklin on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018. As the largest Fall festival in Middle Tennessee, Pumpkinfest attracts more than 65,000 visitors of all ages to Main Street.

“Pumpkinfest is one of the most anticipated events in Williamson County,” said Bari Beasley, CEO of the Heritage Foundation. “The revenue from this family-friendly event allows us to continue to protect and preserve Williamson County’s historic, architectural and geographic resources.”

Guests can experience new activities such as two beer gardens presented in partnership with Mantra Artisan Ales, revamped costume contests and a VIP lounge for Heritage Foundation members.

Additional Pumpkinfest activities include:

  • Live entertainment:o People on the Porch to play Guitar Center Main Stage at 4 p.m.

    o 2nd Avenue Stage across from JJ’s Wine Bar featuring acoustic artists

  • Kids Zone sponsored by Church of the City from 10 a.m. – 3p.m.
  • Trick-or-treating around the festival
  • Arts and crafts vendors
  • Food trucks and street food vendors
  • Guess the weight of the “Great Pumpkin”
  • Costume contests:o People costume contests and parade at 11 a.m. at the Guitar Center Main Stage

    o Pet costume contest presented by MARS Petcare at 1 p.m. at the Guitar Center Main Stage

  • Downtown Franklin Rotary chili cook-off
  • Extreme pumpkin carving
  • Photo opportunities around the squareParking and shuttle services will be available from Church of the City and Harlinsdale Farm for $1 per person each way. No pets, non-folding strollers, food or drink allowed on the trolleys.
