Get in the holiday spirit at Brentwood Library

The Brentwood Library has a lineup of holiday-related happenings over the next few weeks.

Here are some of those events:

Morning with Santa and Magic Show – Saturday, Dec. 5. Doors open at 9 a.m. Free event. Tickets required. Bring the whole family to meet Santa, play a variety of games, and enjoy a magic show by Scott Humston at 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30 a.m. Call Pat Ladnier or Missy Dillingham at 615-371-0090 to reserve a spot.

The Polar Express Reading & Tree Lighting Ceremony – Monday, Dec. 7, 5:30-7 p.m. Free event. Tickets are required for readings but not the lighting ceremony. Polar Express readings will be 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. The Dedication and Lighting of the Tree will be held at 6 p.m. Also, enjoy holiday treats, warm cider, and special music performed by Ravenwood High School. To reserve a spot, call Pat Ladnier or Missy Dillingham at 615-371-0090. The Library tree has two new figure additions – Cat in the Hat and a Nutcracker.

Family Movie – Polar Express (G) – Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1-3 p.m. Fun for the whole family. There will be grab bag giveaways for kids. Whole Foods Market of Franklin will be providing snacks and drinks! For questions, contact Amanda Chappell at 615-371-8290, ext 8290.
