A new bronze statue celebrating the history and legacy of the Franklin Rodeo will be unveiled Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Franklin Rodeo Plaza in Jim Warren Park.

The unveiling is scheduled from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and will help commemorate the rodeo’s 75th anniversary.

Featuring a cowboy riding a bucking horse, the statue will serve as the centerpiece of the new 1.4-acre Franklin Rodeo Plaza, located within Jim Warren Park just west of downtown Franklin. The Franklin Noon Rotary Club donated the monument as a permanent tribute to one of Franklin’s longest-running traditions. The plaza will also include benches, lighting, and signage sharing the story of the Franklin Rodeo.

The Franklin Noon Rotary Club founded the rodeo in 1949 and continues to produce the annual event. Over its history, the Franklin Rodeo has raised millions of dollars to support charitable organizations, schools, and nonprofits in Williamson County.
