Family Day at the Park

Family Day at the Park

Family Day at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm was Saturday, October 22, from 10:00AM to 2:00PM.  The day included hay rides and children’s train rides, fishing/casting in the pond and a variety of games for all ages. The event featured a petting zoo with farm animals and alpacas, and the Franklin Farmers Market will provided free face painting.

A Franklin landmark, Harlinsdale Farm, was established in 1935, and was once called the most significant historic farm associated with the modern Tennessee Walking Horse Industry. The Park at Harlinsdale is a passive park, maintaining and protecting the farm history.

The event was sponsored by the City of Franklin Parks department. Check out photos from Family Day at The Harlinsdale Park, compliments of the City of Franklin’s Facebook account.  We encourage you to click here and “like” the City of Franklin on Facebook, today!
