TOMBSTONE TALES
Community: Franklin
Our biggest event of the year!
Costumed actors of all ages are positioned throughout our historic cemeteries downtown, delivering brief monologues as the person buried there. Part theater, part history, and part fashion, there’s something for everyone. This event goes rain or shine. Walk through any time between 7pm and 9pm with one of our guides.
“History comes alive when told from the grave.”
A portion of the proceeds of this event is donated to Hard Bargain Association every year.
The ground is uneven, making it very difficult for strollers or wheelchairs. We suggest you wear closed-toe shoes and use a flashlight (provided).
