About Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee

Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee (BGCMT) is a youth development organization that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the youth in our community. Our Clubs provide a safe place to learn and grow; ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals; life-enhancing programs and character development experiences; and hope and opportunity. Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

The Clubs provide age appropriate programs for youth with the focus being Academic Success, Good Character and Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles. In the area of Academic Success, the Club supports members’ school success through such efforts as homework help and school readiness, engages members in fun, hands-on activities to practice and learn reading, writing, speaking, math and scientific inquiry and provides extra help for members who have difficulty mastering academic content and skills. Let’s Go Learn technology is used to provide automated, individualized diagnostic testing, data, reporting, and instruction to boost an individual Club member’s performance
