Donelson Hermitage Chamber of Commerce to Present 36th Annual Christmas Parade
Presented by Gaylord Opryland’s A Country Christmas
Nashville, TN — December 1, 2021 — Donelson Hermitage Chamber of Commerce, will present their 36th Annual Christmas Parade on December 4, 2021, at 2 pm. “We are delighted to bring back this wonderful tradition, especially since we will be the only parade in Davidson County this year”, said Beth McDaniels, DHCC President. “We have all had a trying couple of years and kicking off the holiday season with our parade is something we hope will bring great joy and excitement to our area.”
Parade Makeup
The parade’s Grand Marsal will be WWE Superstar, Sheamus, a Donelson resident. The parade will also include civic groups, a marching band, beauty queens, local officials, antique and classic vehicles, various floats, and Santa.
The parade route begins at the corner of Donelson Pike and Elm Hill Pike. It will move northward along Donelson Pike, ending at the Fifty Forward Station. Following the parade, plans for the new Donelson Library Branch will be revealed, and the official Donelson Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at 4 pm in Donelson Plaza. Guests are encouraged to bring a new toy donation for Metro Police Christmas charities to this ceremony to receive a free bacon popcorn at Homegrown Taproom and Kitchen. Hermitage will host its first-ever Tree Lighting at the Hermitage Library at 6 pm.

The Donelson-Hermitage Chamber of Commerce was founded in February 1977 with membership consisting of a few business leaders in the community. The Chamber now boasts a membership of nearly 400 businesses, individuals and organizations and is one of the largest and most active organizations in the Greater Nashville area.
