Individuality is everything at Condado Tacos. While they may have locations nationwide, the favorite taco restaurant embraces uniqueness from its employees and menu items, even down to the art on the walls. As a restaurant with a self-described “Come As You Are and Be Who You Are” philosophy, Condado Tacos wants both customers and staff alike to embrace who they are and what they bring to the community. This can be felt in the atmosphere of the restaurant and seen in aspects including doing things in ways that deviate from the status quo, like not requiring employees to wear uniforms. This is without a doubt seen in the restaurant’s fare. Featuring “clean and craveable” GMO-free food, Condado’s fresh menu allows customers to completely customize their tacos with everything from flavored shells and special sauces to choosing their protein and toppings made from the best high-quality ingredients.
With creativity even finding its way into all of their menu items, the restaurant features both build-your-own tacos and popular signature tacos including “Lucy’s Fire,” “Blue Dream” and “Korean BBQ,” all made with mouth-watering ingredients.
The taco chain—which originated in Ohio—knew it was crucial to come to Middle Tennessee, opening a restaurant in downtown Nashville’s Capitol View area last summer, followed by the Cool Springs location as its 29th store in November of 2021.
While they may be serving tacos to hungry guests around the country, there is no doubt that at Condado celebrating the local community is important and evident in every location. With a mural dubbed the “Franklin Frontier Party Trail” welcoming guests, this prominent and one-of-a-kind feature includes a fun, eccentric depiction of the town’s namesake Benjamin Franklin, who just so happens to be playing music and enjoying Condado’s noteworthy margaritas, which are made with fresh purees and come in a variety of flavors including fresh pineapple, prickly pear, banana, blood orange, muddled jalapeño, and more.
“We often say Condado serves up ‘enough yum for everyone and we feel that’s becoming more evident as we continue our expansion throughout Nashville, a key major market which we targeted, and one that makes sense for us as we continue our Southeastern region growth and expansion,” says Condado Tacos President and CEO Chris Artinian. “The Franklin/Cool Springs area is a local community that we felt would embrace us quickly, and they have done just that.” CondadoTacos.com
