Coloring Contests for St. Patrick’s Day and Easter

Sharpen your crayons! Williamson County Parks and Recreation facilities are seeking young artists to compete in the St. Patrick’s Day and Easter coloring contests held through the Franklin, Fairview and Leiper’s Fork Recreation facilities.  Kids, pick up your coloring picture at any one of these three locations and dazzle the judges with your creativity!  Previous prize winners made use of glitter, markers, paint, crayons, colored pencils and even cut-paper and plastic appliqués to impress the judges.

 

Kids ages 3 to 10 are eligible and will be judged within their age groups: 3 to 4 years old, 5 to 6 years old, 7 to 8 years old and 9 to 10 years old. Prizes will be awarded for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place in each age group. Entries for the St. Patrick’s Day contest must be turned in by Monday, March 17^th, and for the Easter contest by Monday, March 31^st in order to be considered.

 

The Franklin Recreation Complex is located at 1120 Hillsboro Rd. in Franklin. The Fairview Recreation Complex is located at 2714 Fairview Blvd. in Fairview. The Hillsboro-Leiper’s Fork Community Center is located at 5325 Old Highway 96 in Leiper’s Fork.
