The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of ongoing children’s arts and crafts activities at the Franklin Recreation Complex, located at 1120 Hillsboro Road. WCPRD is a public organization, here to benefit the community. No membership is required. Anyone can register for and participate in our classes – a facility pass is not required. PAINTING WITH CINDY
Kids will learn how to create a painting of three sailboats on canvas and how to use light and dark color values to make objects look more real. Painting with Cindy will be on Thursday, January 7, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. For ages 9 and older. The class is $10 per painter. Call the Franklin Recreation Complex to register: 790-5719, ext. 10.
STICKY FINGERS PRESCHOOL CLUB
Sticky Fingers is a preschool club with an art emphasis. Designed for children ages 3 to 6 years, Sticky Fingers provides a creative supplement to preschool through a variety of crafting experiences. ARTS & CRAFTS PARTIES
Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s arts and crafts department is stirring up ideas at the Franklin Recreation Complex. Would your group of friends like to try something new and creative together? Is your scout troop looking to
complete an art badge? Are you looking for a new birthday party theme? Do you simply need a creative outlet to satisfy your organization’s adventurous spirit? It’s a custom-made, you-pick-your-project way of meeting the demand for artistic expression. Here are some ideas: ceramics, Stuff-n-Fluff Noah’s Ark workshop, Bella Bee Princess Workshop, Scrapbooking.
