Waves, Inc.

Waves’ Making Waves Breakfast stands as one of Franklin’s most impactful and enduring fundraising events. Each year, the breakfast convenes civic leaders, business partners, families, and advocates for a powerful morning centered on inclusion, progress, and community responsibility.

As Waves celebrates 53 years of service, the organization now supports more than 500 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Middle Tennessee—at little to no cost to families. The Making Waves Breakfast brings this mission to life through authentic stories and measurable impact, demonstrating how collective generosity fuels access, independence, and long-term opportunity.

Efficient by design yet deeply meaningful, the event consistently strengthens community partnerships while generating critical support for Waves’ Early Learning and Adult Services programs. It exemplifies what a fundraiser can be when purpose, scale, and heart come together—making it a defining community event worthy of recognition.
