PennePazze, a family-owned Italian kitchen, is set to open at Canteen on Carothers in Franklin’s Cool Springs area in early 2026. The 3,400-square-foot space will feature the brand’s first full-scale Gelato Pazzo experience, serving traditional Italian gelato made by Italian chefs with premium ingredients.
Guests can also enjoy fresh pasta, Roman-style pizza (“pinsa”), and shop at the on-site Italian market, which will offer fresh and dry pastas, sauces, and imported goods. An outdoor patio will provide a relaxed setting for al fresco dining. Known for its open kitchen and farm-to-table approach, PennePazze makes every dish in-house daily. The Franklin location joins the company’s existing restaurants in Nashville, bringing the authentic flavors that have drawn Williamson County residents north into the heart of Cool Springs.
PennePazze already operates locations in Nashville and Murfreesboro.
