Located at The Factory at Franklin, The Carousel of Dreams features 36 hand-carved animal figures, including horses, dragons, and wheelchair-accessible chariots. This stunning work of art is the creation of master carver Ken Means, whose passion for woodcraft began over 30 years ago when he carved a rocking horse as a Christmas gift for his daughters. That single piece sparked a lifelong journey, culminating in a menagerie of beautifully crafted carousel animals that will soon enchant visitors in Franklin.
The Carousel of Dreams serves not only as a whimsical attraction but also as a force for good in the community. It is operated by The Circle of Giving, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to supporting Williamson County charities. Proceeds from sponsorships, donations, and carousel rides benefit local organizations, ensuring that this timeless creation brings joy and support to the community for years to come.
