What is the national economic outlook for small business? Come hear January’s luncheon speaker, Jack Faris, business consultant and past president of National Federation of Independent Businesses, as he discusses how other countries view the U.S. and free enterprise, as well as the impact of the national leadership changes for 2007.

Chamber’s Women In Business Luncheon Serves Up Culture for January
Join speaker Dr. Susan Edwards, executive director/CEO of The Frist Center for the Visual Arts, for a cultural treat as we kickoff the 2007 Women In Business Luncheons. An acknowledged expert in American art as well as the history of photography. Ms. Edwards has organized exhibitions, published and lectured on modern and contemporary artists, photography, and more. In addition, she has taught these subjects at several universities including Vanderbilt University, where she is currently an adjunct associate professor. Edwards serves on the advisory boards of the Bogliasco Foundation, Harvard University Art Museums Collections Committee, and the Stephen Taller Archive at Harvard University.

Cost: $10 for members and guests. Non-member guests may attend only one Women In Business meeting as a guest; after that, Chamber membership is required, as this program is a benefit of Chamber membership. This event, hosted at the new Fine Arts Center Grand Lobby of Brentwood Academy, gives guests an opportunity to relax and network with fellow chamber members. Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages provided.

No registration is required. This event is FREE to Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber members. Non-members are welcome; however, they must pay a $10 guest fee.
