Bound Booksellers will celebrate their official opening at The Factory at Franklin on Saturday, July 18th. The independent bookstore relocates after serving the Westhaven community for the past decade. The move, first announced in April, brings the longtime bookstore to one of Franklin’s most beloved destinations.

The new location provides additional space for books, author events, and community gatherings. Since June, the bookstore’s team has been filling shelves and settling into the new space. Their official grand opening celebration takes place this Saturday. The event marks a new chapter for the locally owned bookstore. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will kick off the festivities, welcoming guests to explore the new space and support a longtime independent bookseller.

Opening Day Features Author Events and Community Reception

The grand opening includes a full day of activities for readers of all ages. Bestselling children’s author Jessica Young will host a morning story hour. Several authors will meet readers and sign books throughout the afternoon. Guests can also enjoy giveaways during the celebration. The evening concludes with a community reception inside the new bookstore. Visitors can meet local authors, explore the expanded space, browse new releases, and discover their next favorite read. The event gives readers a chance to celebrate Bound Booksellers’ new home at The Factory at Franklin.
