Big Harpeth Tennis Tourney

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking adult tennis players to participate in the 12th Annual Big Harpeth Classic Tennis Tournament, held on Friday, Sat. and Sun., June 8, 9 & 10. All matches will be played at three different venues, the Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood, the Franklin Recreation Complex and/or Grassland Park in Franklin.

The deadline for tournament registration is Sun. June 3 at 6 p.m. (CST).

Both United States Tennis Association (USTA) sanctioned and non-sanctioned events will be offered. USTA sanctioned events will include Open through age 70 division categories in men’s and women’s singles and doubles, as well as, Open, 35 and 45 mixed doubles. The non-sanctioned events consist of men’s and women’s singles and doubles in skill levels from 2.5 to 4.0. Mixed doubles will also be offered at the 3.0 and 4.0 levels. All matches will be played according to USTA rules and regulations.

The Franklin Recreation Complex is located at 1120 Hillsboro Rd. in Franklin. The Indoor Sports Complex is located at 920 Heritage Way in Brentwood. The Grassland Park is located at 6759 Manley Lane in Franklin.
