BBB Hosts Songwriter’s Night to Benefit Local Small Businesses

For Immediate Release:  Better Business Bureau serving Middle TN and Southern KY will host the fifth annual Songwriter’s Night event on September 29th, 5:30 PM at the Factory at Franklin at 230 Franklin Road. Asurion, Capstar Bank, Earl Swensson Associates, and WKRN News 2 are top event sponsors.

The event’s special host is Danielle Breezy, News 2 Chief Meteorologist. A live and silent auction plus performances from award-winning songwriters Erik Dylan, Wyatt McCubbin, and Brice Long, are a few of the highlights to anticipate this year. Dylan contributed to Luke Combs’ record-breaking album What You See Is What You Get and co-wrote Riley Green’s No. 1 hit “There Was This Girl.” McCubbin has toured with Josh Turner and written songs for Tracey Lawrence, Josh Ward, and John Schneider, just to name a few. Songwriter, Brice Long has been in the music business for over twenty-five years. He has penned songs for Garth Brooks, Chris Stapleton, Reba McEntire, Josh Turner, and many more.

“We are looking forward to a great night of showcasing amazing local songwriters, plenty of fun, and networking,” said Robyn Householder, President & CEO of Better Business Bureau serving Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. “More importantly, this event will help raise money to assist small businesses.”

Funds raised will help BBB’s Integrity Foundations Small Business Grants that assist our Accredited Business community that have been financially impacted due to illness, natural disasters, or any obstacle that negatively impacted their business in the last twelve months. One grant recipient stated, “The small business grant helped me tremendously. It helped keep my business going when I needed the money most. I am thankful for the support BBB provides to businesses.”
