Battle of Franklin Trust Launches Tennessee History Podcast

First episode of “TENN in 20” will be available Tuesday, March 27 for streaming

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Battle of Franklin Trust launches its official podcast “TENN in 20” today. The podcast focuses on the history of the State of Tennessee, which is available through iTunes and the Battle of Franklin Trust’s website.

Hosts Brad Kinnison and Sarah Falck aim to entertain and educate the public through discussions of intriguing aspects of Tennessee history. Each 20-minute episode of the 10-part series will be released every other Tuesday through July 31.

“We refer to ourselves as historical enthusiasts, not historians,” said Kinnison. “We’re taking the topics seriously and researching them as best as we can, but we don’t mind joking around a bit and having fun.”

Listeners can expect discussions relating to well-known topics, as well as more unique and obscure stories. The tone is conversational and gives the public a peek into the types of thoughts historical enthusiasts have daily.

“Everyone has twenty minutes,” said Falck. “Why not use that time to be entertained and learn about our State?”
