ASCEND FEDERAL CREDIT UNION OPENS NASHVILLE LOCATION IN GREEN HILLS
NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 22, 2020 – Ascend Federal Credit Union, the largest credit union in Middle Tennessee, today opened its newest location in Nashville. Located at 1915 Glen Echo Road in Green Hills, the new branch is Ascend’s 27th Middle Tennessee location and sixth branch in Nashville.
The Nashville-Green Hills branch is situated near The Mall at Green Hills and the U.S. Post Office, which is also located on Glen Echo Road. The branch offers a full suite of products and services, including checking and savings accounts, youth accounts, money market and certificate of deposit accounts, auto and recreational loans, credit cards, signature loans, signature line of credit loans and business accounts and loans.
The Nashville-Green Hills office has two drive-up interactive teller machines (ITMs), where members can receive virtual teller service from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The machines also operate as ATMs 24/7.
“This expansion allows us to better serve our members in southwest Nashville and establish new relationships with people and businesses that live and work in this bustling area of Music City,” said Ascend President and CEO Caren Gabriel. “While Middle Tennessee is still dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re looking forward to safely providing our full breadth of competitive financial offerings using video ITM technology.”
In addition to the drive-up ITMs available Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., an interior ITM is available 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday. To help protect against COVID-19, Ascend is limiting the number of individuals inside its lobbies to adhere to physical distancing recommendations.
