Williamson County Parks and Recreation is proud to host ongoing nature programs and events at Timberland Park.

April 8:  Mimics of the Animal World – Timberland Park, 4:00 p.m. Come and learn about some of Tennessee’s best examples of animal mimics. Register for activity #14257 at www.wcparksandrec.com. Cost is free, but registration is required.

April 19:  Full Moon Hike – Timberland Park, 7:45 p.m. Come out and see the park as it is rarely seen…at night! We will hike around a mile and discuss different night-time creatures and try to dispel some of our fears of the night. As an added bonus, we will have a full moon to hike by. This is truly going to be a fantastic time. Join us! Pre-registration is strictly required. Register for activity #14258 at www.wcparksandrec.com.

Timberland Park is located at mile marker 437.2 on the historic Natchez Trace Parkway, just south of the Highway 96 entrance and iconic bridge. For questions or additional information, call (615) 232-4154.
