The Outgoing Tide
Community: Franklin
By Bruce Graham
Directed by Cindy Davis Massey
Feb. 5-20, 2027
In a summer cottage on Chesapeake Bay, Gunner, a tough old guy, folksy and funny, has hatched an unorthodox plan to secure his family’s future. Life has thrown him a curve. As he and his family struggle to cope, scenes from their past alternate with the mounting drama of the present. Often compared to On Golden Pond, this drama hums with dark humor and powerful emotion.
