FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Pull-Tight Players invites audiences to sink their teeth into a wildly funny take on the world’s most famous vampire when Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors opens October 2 at Pull-Tight Theatre, 112 2nd Ave. S. in downtown Franklin.

Written by Gordon Greenberg and Steve Rosen and directed for Pull-Tight by Glenn Whelan, Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors turns Bram Stoker’s legendary tale on its head with a fast-paced, campy comedy filled with clever wordplay, physical humor, quick character changes, and plenty of vampire-inspired mayhem.

Barrett Thomas stars as Count Dracula, joined by other Pull-Tight favorites J.T. Landry, Bre Hall and Jeanne Drone, along with newcomer David Fichter. Together, these five actors take on an impressive 15 different roles, bringing a colorful collection of characters to life in this energetic and decidedly unconventional trip to Transylvania.

“Director Glenn Whelan has put together an outstanding ensemble of five crazy talented actors who are sure to have you rolling with laughter,” said producer Cindy Davis Massey. “So put your best fangs on and join us for all the madness!”

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. October 2, 3, 7–10 and 14–17, with 2:30 p.m. matinees October 4 and 11.

Tickets go on sale Monday, September 21, at 10 a.m. Tickets may be purchased at www.pull-tight.com.
