“Beehives & Bombshells: The Evolution of the Bombshell” opens September 24 with a two-act celebration of the icons who defined the 1940s–1960s
FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Aug. 20, 2026 — Nashville-based performer, actress, and entrepreneur Tania Joy (TJ) will bring her original solo tribute production, Beehives & Bombshells: The Evolution of the Bombshell, to the historic Franklin Theatre on Thursday, September 24, 2026. The two-act theatrical concert traces the icons who defined an era, spanning the 1940s through the 1960s, through live vocals, staged transitions, and a full band.
The show is produced under Tania Joy’s own banner, Regmyan Productions LLC, and features a live band alongside a cast of backup singers, with a set built and painted by Tania Joy’s own team. Tania Joy wrote the show’s spoken transitions and opening monologue herself, weaving her own story as a performer into the arc of the women she’s paying tribute to.
“This show is a love letter to the women who taught us that glamour and grit could live in the same body,” said Tania Joy. “I wanted an evening that feels like stepping into their era — and leaves this audience feeling like a bombshell themselves.”
Tania Joy is a Nashville- and Chicago-based performer with representation in both markets, a former Miss Teen Illinois and Miss Illinois titleholder, and the founder of several ventures under Regmyan Productions, spanning performance, coaching, and creative production. Beehives & Bombshells marks her first solo tribute concert production at the Franklin Theatre.
Tania Joy is joined onstage by Nashville recording artist Michelle Murray, a national touring performer known for her work as the artist behind the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation’s “My Finish Line” music and film tour, and by Kara Eknes, a vocalist known locally for her work aboard the General Jackson Showboat and with The Satin Dollz. The live band features veteran Nashville session musicians, including trombonist Bill Huber, whose credits include James Brown, Aretha Franklin, and Diana Ross.
