The Franklin Christmas Parade brings the sights and sounds of the season to historic downtown Franklin as floats, marching groups, performers, and community organizations make their way along the parade route. Families and visitors gather along Main Street to watch the procession, enjoy the holiday decorations, and welcome Santa Claus to downtown Franklin.
Parade entries may include local schools, marching bands, dance groups, businesses, churches, civic organizations, and other community participants. Holiday music, decorated vehicles, costumes, and themed floats add to the atmosphere, while the route through downtown gives spectators several places to watch the celebration.
Presented by the Downtown Franklin Rotary Club, the parade has been part of Franklin’s holiday calendar for more than 30 years and remains one of the community’s signature Christmas traditions.
